In a showcase of local creative flair, young and experienced Zimbabwean designers alike presented works of art to spectators at the Nugget Global Platform. Outfits ranged from the truly bizarre, haute couture I think the French call it, to the classy and chic.

Personally I never thought a woman could look beautiful in pair of baggy jeans, worn backwards and past their belly button but the designers at the Nugget Global Platform definitely proved me wrong.

All outfits were made from clothes purchased at the bustling Mupedzanhamo Market in Mbare and the designers were given three hours to remake, refashion and redress these items into something new and original, a true test of their creativity.

Redress is an new exciting show that is sure not to be missed and is one that celebrates the creativity of our local talent so be sure to show your support and if you fancy getting your modeling shoes (or lack thereof) on for the next performance on Aon ZImbabwe Day on Sunday, the designers are always looking for fresh new victims!
